I have a pair of Bryston amps in my system. a 2.5 SST2 for my rear speakers and a new 3B Cubed for my Aerial 5T's. The cube amps are very quiet and detailed. Compared to the SST 2 amps it has a smoother less fatiguing top end. One word of warning. Because of the pandemic in Canada their operation has fallen behind. I had to wait 3 months for my amp. Be prepared to have a delay in shipment.
Need Help with Recommendation for Amps
Posting this in Amps/Pre Amps but it is for my home theater. I have 11 channels, all Paradigm, 4 in ceiling, 4 on wall W5's, 2 S8's and 1 C5 center. I was thinking Bryston. 2 9B's configured for 4 channels each and 3 X 3B's to be run in bridged mode for the L/C/R. It is being driven by a Storm ISP MK2 with various sources. It is nearly $45k of amplification... So am thinking about alternatives. Considering Acurus and Parasound. Would love other advice. Thanks in advance.

Call me crazy, but I’d recommend trying D-Sonic M3a amps that could give you 12 amp channels @ 400W per channel for only $6250. You can demo them at home and return them if they don’t knock your socks off, but if they work you’ll save yourself a small fortune. Best of luck. https://www.d-sonic.com/amplifiers/ |
