Need help sourcing tubes - Mullard M8080's

I have a CJ  PV14L that has 2 x m8080's -  it seems the Mullards are the way to go  but after contacting CJ [ Took 10 days for a call back ] they were not much help - suggested I sell the pre amp !  no tubes from them available ...ugh

saw the listing , I guess it was a Euro thing - these tubes don't seem to have been used for may applications here in the states 

 

I ordered a pair from the listing prior to this post - was hoping to find something on this side of the " pond '

Why not try a 6C4? Same tube and plentiful in your neck of the woods!
