Music Lovers! Unite in helping Ukraine!

We are fortunate to live in countries that allow us to pursue financial success. I believe most of us on here has attained that to a degree that we are living relatively comfortably.

The Russian military is beginning to utilize all the massive firepower at its disposal. Since their offensive has bogged down, they are changing tactics. Their new tactic is to surround a city and shell it indiscriminately, inflicting as much human misery as possible. A rocket, missile and artillery shell doesn’t care if you are a soldier, old woman, or an infant. Neither does Putin.

When they unleash it like they did in Syria, it will be a humanitarian catastrophe not seen since the Second World War. Death and destruction on a massive scale.

Please, consider giving to a charitable organization to help.

We have so much. Give some of it to whom it will literally make a difference between living and dying. You will be saving a life. A life of someone loved. Just as you love.

This is the charity I used, but there are several more of your choice. International Red Cross, Save the Children, CARE, to name a few.

Please, let’s all do what we can to help.

ashamed of what? - for the fact that I am for world peace? - no, not ashamed...
and yes - I periodically feed the homeless and do not ask for anything for it ...

I'm probably preventing you from doing dark things ... I'm glad!

"Sadly we have a corpse 🧟‍♂️ of a president who forgot what democracy is."

you're wrong; thankfully, Fat Donnie is no longer president.

Another sad chapter in the worlds history.  Lets hope the bloodshed and destruction ends very soon and without the Ukrainian people being forced to live in a constant state of fear and without the basic rights of a free people.

I must confess that I seldom feel enthusiastic to donate to charitable causes because there are too many stories that arouse suspicions over where the money actually goes.  In this case, I think the risk here is well worth it so I hav donated.  Thank you for creating this post and give it me the impetus to do so.  It is heart warming to see that we too at Audiogon can have a voice that will help and make a difference. What else can we do, boycott Russian made tubes?  What about Switzerland?  They claim neutrality which is nice code for they continue to collect money in exchange for providing safe refuge to Russian Oligarchs and their bank accounts. Maybe its time to boycott Solution etc. ?

Actually, Switzerland has joined in the EU sanctions!

They are sanctioning Putin and his billionaire oligarch cronies, and closing their airspace to all Russian flights.

Cheers to Switzerland for ditching their neutrality in these extraordinary times!

ya know, I really don't need more frigging political posts and BS now starting in one of my last spaces of personal enjoyment, reading on this forum. Take your post to anywhere else you feel compelled too. Christ.
