Wasn't that a solid state amp designed and sold by Conrad Johnson in the Eighties?
Motif MS1001 power amp
I bought a Motif MS1001 power amplifier a couple of months ago and I’m finding it exceptional for its almost 30 years of life. It truly is a magical amp! Do you have any information you can give me about this amp? Any tests or reviews carried out by some magazine of the time?

If anyone has tests or reviews carried out by magazines of the time or can provide me with detailed information, I would appreciate it. Before putting it to work I had it checked by a technician to be sure it was ok. Well! After thirty years the electrical values of the components are perfect and this thanks to the use of only polypropylene capacitors. The power output measured on both channels is 280 watts into 4.7 ohms!! |
