Yes, the cables do take several hundred hours to break in fully. I like to use a CD that has white-noise/pink noise. Put on “REPEAT” at a moderate level. Classical music with dynamic contrast works well also. In the end it is worth the effort, IMO.

Anyone have experience with Morrow Speaker Cables?
Just hooked up my Morrow SP6 cables and after reading their material, they are saying that proper break in can take hundreds of hours of burn in. There also may be a dip in performance around the 50 hour mark before SQ trends towards improvement again.
Question- does the volume level affect burn in rate? I imagine I'll keep a low volume on for a day or so, but to be honest I'm really scratching my head about hearing any difference with burn in.
