No, that is not an appropriate analogy. There are various reasons one might want to boost or diminish gain on subs or switch configurations.
Hopefully someone with some knowledge weighs in.
Mini DSP 2x4 Remote question
I've got three subs running through a Mini DSP 2x4 remote control. This is a nice feature, but once I push the + or - buttons a few times, I am not sure what puts me back at the default level I set for my preferred configuration.
Does anyone here with a Mini DSP use the remote? If so, how do you get back to your default without hooking up your laptop and re-syncing?
