Meridian 808i reads no disc

My Meridian 808i cd player seems to finally be sticking with a no disc message.It still functions until the message appears. I've had this a few times in the past, but changing out the disc used to resolve it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

1st - see if there is an issue with the cd, IE scratched, something small stuck on it, etc. if not, spend $30 bucks for a really good cd laser cleaner (a cd with micro fine bristles on it)... It worked for me. Laser gets dirty and stops reading dscs. Of course, thats assuming thre isn't something worse worng with it. So, try to clean the laser and if No Go, service time.
