Cant speak for sooloos but I’ve been using the 218 bought used 7 months ago and use it as a pre amp to the 8k’s and consider it a freaking steal. My server/streamer is a Roon nucleus and I had to buy an iPad to integrate it but I’m getting full 24/196 when available and the difference is quite audible. A blue light on the face of the 218 lights for mqa but doesn’t show resolution. The 218 accepts 1 analog input a coax, optical and ethernet. It’s small, plastic and appears cheap but it works and stays out of the way of the music.

Has anyone heard the new Meridian 218 Zone Controller? How does the MQA sound and is the unit a worthwhile addition to the Sooloos Control 15.
