McIntosh MX122 died- Need advice

Hi, I have a McIntosh MX122 used for a HT set up. It quit working back in early October so I brought it to my local certified Mc repair shop. They diagnosed a bad main logic board and told me it would be a while to get the part in due to production issues. Fast forward to this week and I just heard that McIntosh will not be producing that logic board anymore. 

I hate to just trash that unit after only getting 5 years of use but I don't know how to source the part and get it fixed. Any suggestions for what I should do? Thanks!
