Mcintosh MCD12000 issues

Team,

I have a set of issues and resetting and powering off the device is no fix.

1. MCD12000 powers up but it powers up 3 times  with 3 clicks and tubes , same with power off , resetting did not fix the issue

2. mcd 12000 roon is finicky , shows up after 3 hours or never

Any thought what could be wrong here?

Yes as everyone says, contact the dealer or McIntosh or maybe even both. That's really the best way forward.

@joshziggie2021, +1, The best idea is to contact your dealer or McIntosh directly. Please keep us posted.

How long have you been using the mcd12000? Looks like there is something wrong with one or more of the tubes.

The best idea is contact your dealer or mcintosh directly

@joshziggie2021, I cannot solve your issue.

Please call McIntosh Customer support. Their support is excellent.

What’s the behavior of the McIntosh mcd12000 when plugged into power ?
when I plug it into mpc1500 the dac powers up.  This shouldn’t be happening to any device !

my expectation is for it to get power but not to turn on and stay on stand by mode when I plug it into power .

This is 100% a situation where you contact your dealer and/or McIntosh for help. Lots of well meaning people on here but probably none of us qualified to troubleshoot a faulty device like that. But McIntosh has a good reputation for support so you should be able to work with them.

The McIntosh MCD12000 experiencing multiple power cycles with clicks and tube activation may indicate a fault in the power supply or internal circuitry.  I suggest you contact McIntosh customer support.

Users have reported that the McIntosh MCD12000 can be finicky when connecting to Roon, sometimes taking hours to appear or not showing up at all. If problems persist, please contact McIntosh support for further assistance, as it could indicate a compatibility issue with the Roon setup or the MCD12000 itself.
