McIntosh and line arrays - Awesome site
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to share a web page I came across ( via DIY Audio ) from McIntosh’s first speaker designer, Roger Rusell. Among other great things, he discusses the first line arrays from Mc, and this gem:
" A preconceived notion about a long column is that it produces comb filtering and tweeters interfere with each other causing sharp narrow dips in response. Although this can be shown by producing sine wave response curves, it fails to explain why it is not heard."
