yes - it’s ARC Ref 75SE and there is no issue to bias the tubes and the bias is stable..... I was just wondering with all the discussions about ALWAYS matching all the tubes etc....
They also sent me yet another pair that is much closer to the first pair but not matching; 1 tube is 44 and another is 45....
So I guess my questions should have been:
would it be better to put the 46 pair on one channel and the two slightly mis-matched tube on the other channel knowing that at least they are very close to the other pair.
OR
Should I keep two perfectly matched pairs for each channel - even though BETWEEN channels they are off by a larger margin.
PS: I really don't know this entire business with Bias and matching so excuse me if I am not making much sense here....I just heard that all tubes should be match in their rating and some other characteristics
