Martin Logan EDL

I have an opportunity to purchase a pair of Martin Logan EDL speakers and  Martin Logan subwoofer. The are fom 2009, but have not been used in past 5 years. When I plugged them in, one has a loud hum. Sounds to be coming from the bix with the woofer. Any ideas what would cause this, and if it can be fixed?

The OP meant ESL. "D" is right next the "S" on the keyboard.

It's an entry level model.

OK, I have a pair. Contact Martin Logan first and see what they say.

Thanks everyone. I was able to contact Martin Logan support. Could be a $100 fix or replace the speaker!
