It is my understanding the 334 early on had some cap issues but not sure of the serial number Madrigal corrected or installed the better caps?

I have noticed there have been a few for sale lately. I know the caps were an issue but does anyone know what the serial numbers were that were mainly affected? Also what is your opinion on the amp overall? Stay away or take a chance? How long do caps usually last? 20 years or so?
