You may want to check audio circle there's a large Magnepan community that posts there.
Magnepan 3.7i Filter upgrade
If you own or have owned the 3.7 or 3.7i and modified the filter I would be very interested to hear what you did and what results you got.
The first thing I will do is to remove the fuses and the resistor jumpers. I will also get some better terminals and solder everything. No cable shoes (:
The filter components on the i models look okay. Not sure how much improvement I can get from better capacitors.
But a new filter with different slopes or maybe an active filter could be an improvement.
