Magnepan 1.7i and want to upgrade to something bigger....louder....what do I get?

I really enjoy the JC1 mono blocks and audio research gs pre preamplifier, and JL audio fathom subs, but looking for more punch when listening to other styles of music that play much louder , Tool, NIN, ext. Woukd you upgrade to wilson audio, or Bowers and wilkins...or what?
