Maestro faceplate - does it make a difference?

Hi, Does the Maestro faceplate (used with the Maestro outlet)  make a difference compared to an inexpensive one?  THANX, FRED

Or are you speaking from speculation based upon assumed principles?

That's our Randy!!!

randy-11:  have you actually tried a Maestro outlet in comparison to a Hubbell in order to speak so authoritatively?  Or are you speaking from speculation based upon assumed principles?
Just use any decent $10 to $15 outlet - Hubbell and others make good solid ones.

You want a solid connection (for the amp) - nothing else matters at an AC power outlet
Its not the faceplate, but the Maestro outlet that makes the difference.  Just use a 29c plastic Home Depot faceplate
No.  Don't waste your $$ on snake oil.

If you DO have a problem, address power cables to your DAC first & then an AC power converter (transformer) such as a used Topaz.
