Luxman C900u owners

Unable to break code running simultaneously active speakers with XLR OUT AND RCA OUT to subwoofer.  What do I select.  Yes, I’ve read supplied owners manual, to no effect.  Thank you in advance.

Trying to run ATC active speakers using XLR OUT AND RCA OUT to run subwoofer.  Do not seem to be able to have simultaneous signal to run both.

I responded to your first thread. This is a duplicate of that one isn’t it? If it won’t allow rca and XLR concurrently then your options are limited

Simply find that odd for a former flagship product.  This cannot be an unforeseen outcome.  Thanks.  I’ll try to contact Luxman corporate for insight.

In the other thread someone suggested using an XLR/RCA adapter or cable.  An outboard crossover seems overly complicated.

I agree you should contact Luxman directly.

The answer:

Hi Douglas,

You cannot run the XLR OUT and RCA OUT simultaneously. The 'output mode' is chosen on the front panel. 'Balanced' for XLR, 'Unbalanced' for RCA. In either mode, LINE 1 and LINE 2 outputs operate simultaneously. This means you have to use RCA for both your speaker and sub, or XLR for both your speakers and sub.

Thank you.
