Low internal resistance mc phono cartridges

1-3 ohms is not low. Now this is low:

I can understand the internal resistance of the cartridge being low for ideal transimpedance phono conversion but how much does the arm wiring swamp that tiny internal resistance?

Maybe a miniature transimpedance stage being built either into the body of the turntable or the arm itself.
