I actually found my old Tekna Sonic C-10s.
I don't have the additional magnetic pads that you would originally stick on to the speaker to hold them on, though. I used to put them on top of a speaker and seemed to hear a difference.
Looking for Tekna Sonic Vibration Absorbers
I am looking for a pair of the Teknasonic Vibration Absorber Model C-10. It’s that plastic gizmo (from the eighties or nineties?) that sticks onto the back of a speaker to reduce cabinet resonance. I’ve scoured eBay and other sources. Does anyone have any leads for me?
@prof, One can buy magnetic pads from McMaster-Carr and while they work, they don't quite have the magnetic strength of the originals. Check them out here: https://www.mcmaster.com/magnetic-pads/flexible-magnets-5/ |
I have 8 of them, just about all new and in unopened boxes. Four areTeknaSonic Vibration Absorber Model C-10 and four are Model C-12. The company sent them to me for review, years ago. Happy to sell them to you for a reasonable price. If you're interested, please let me know. I suppose I would prefer to sell all of them at the same time. |
