Looking for a cartridge upgrade

I am currently using a Linn Krystal Cartridge on my LP 12.  I am looking for something with more punch and dynamics.  I listen to rock, blues, jazz and country.  The rest of my system is Audio Research and Wilson.  Also, anybody out there try the (not so) new bearing upgrade on the LP 12?  I may spring for that when I upgrade the cartridge.

Thanks for the advice!!

Dear @jemmer01  : Obviously the Kandid will do better as the Kleos too that I owned and is very good performer.

You can improve this combo too with different amplifier (s ), obviously at a higher price than a cartridge change.

I have a Hana ML cartridge. Very good sound but the Lyra Delos, which is better also has better dynamics. For me, the Lyra is out of my price range.

I've not heard the Kleos in a Linn, only a in the direct drive VPI. It has a great reputation. The top Dynavectors might also work. Why not try a inexpensive Audio Technica VM760SLC as an experiment to get a benchmark on something different. You might be surprised.

To be honest, for the type of music you like to listen to, the LP12 may not be the best choice. I had one years ago and switched to a tricked out Garrard 401. I have a few of them and different arms and cartridges for the different music and mood.

Lyra Delos for more dynamics in the same ballpark?
Next step up, if you have a dealer to assist set up, Linn Kandid for more of everything the Krystal has.
