Lock screw for Marantz SA 10 And Ruby sacd player

My audio friend wants to listen either to my SA10 or my Ruby sacd player? It’s almost 2 hrs from me , My question does this players even have lock screw for transport? I forgot already if they have lock screw the manuals did not mentioned about the lock screws , Thanks

My Marantz SA15s2b didn't have lock screws and I don't think yours does either. If you bought them new, did you have to remove anything to play them or was is just plug and play?

All the best,
Nonoise

Nonoise I look below it looks like they did not need need lock screw. I bought them open box, Plug and play indeed.i double check their boxes , no lock screw found.

@jayctoy , great to hear-better safe than sorry. I remember back in the day when a lot of CD players came with the drives locked in place (from below) and one had to release it in order to play.

All the best,
Nonoise

Yes I remember those days you can’t play the player without removing the lock screw.my guess the new ones don’t employ lock screw anymore.

Winoguy 17 I checked both SA10 and Ruby, no lock noted. Congratulations for buying the Ruby if you will buy a good pc and ic ? You will be able to get the best performance on your Ruby, truly is a well built and well design sacd player.

Winoguy17 at present Iam using Audioquest tornado pc and High Fidelity ic, treated with q45 HF enhancer.
