Personal experience with the two tubes.  What is the difference between both tubes, which tube has better SQ and which tube do you recommend?  Thanks members!!

@pdreher i don’t remember but you want to search online, for a trusted direct dealer in China, make sure to purchase the extended warranty for 2yrs, keep your receipt make sure they do honor it.  To my ears the Acme 845 sounds even with both highs, mids and bass responses.  I would leave my bias until red plate but try not to do it too much, sounds the best.  Hope this help, pm if you want more infos. Happy Listing!

My experience with Linlai 101D tubes not so good, doesn't mean other Linlai not good. Psvane Acme 300B wonderful tube, reliable and great sound quality, in midst of comparing to Western Electric, already had possible failure at around 5 hours, being tested at the moment.

As for the 845, I've had great luck with various Psvane, TII and limited production run black bottles. Acme's at top of my list for next 845.

I have the Line Magnetic 845 Premium which uses a pair of 845's & 300B's. I will say that the Linlai Elite E-845s have taken a very long time to sound good for me. It took about 75 hours for me to begin to like them. I do like them quite a bit now after about 100 hours.
I also have a pair of Psvane Acme 845s... which will be up for sale very soon. I did not really have to A/B the Acme's with the Elite's to almost immediately sense the superiority of the Elites. The Acme's were veiled, cloudy, dark, reticent, and very much stuck in the speaker box compared to the Linlai Elite E-845s which have the opposite traits. The Linlai Elite E-845s are just in an altogether different league than the Psvane Acme 845s.

@lm219ya I can’t recommend to you Valves for the 845 as I only recently bought a Quad Set of Linlai WE 845’s.

When having purchased the Linlai WE 845’s and then informing the designer builder of my 845 Power Amp’s of what I had done. I was caught out by the reply, as the EE was not understanding the Linlai WE 845, it was not recognised for being a true 845 Valve, he referred to the Linlai WE 845 as a Doppelganger replacement  with Specifications that are not meeting an 845 Spec’s.

I have not yet used the Linlai WE 845, due to some additional math investigation being required.

For 300b Tubes more assistance might be forthcoming quite soon, as within my local audio group, there are Three 300b designed Amp’s in use, along with Five Different Brands of 300b Tubes.

An Amp Comparison is soon to occur, where Amp’s will be couped to the variety of available 300b Tubes and other available Driver Tubes, designated to be Tube Rolling Valves. There will be permutations selected for Driver > Power Valves during the comparisons. There might be some info on 300b Valves worth knowing following this session of comparisons.
