Lexicon MC12 producing static noise only

I have this setup for years with no problem. MC12 with a Lexicon five channel amp. Now when I turn it on all I get is static noise(hum) only. It remains same when I change inputs. Absolutely no other sound. Any one experience this before? The reason I think it is processor not the amp is when I switch both of them off, the MC12 turns on few seconds later than the amp(because it takes few seconds for software load). The noise starts when the processor turns on.
