Legacy Audio Focus SE and rivals

I am Interested at Legacy Audio Focus SE - their natural look Is exceptional, they are very efficient, got 2 x 12 Inch woofers which cut off  low end at 18 Hz at - 2 dB , curious about  HF end where cut off Is 30 kHz

I would like to ask you - are they neutral sound speaker, are they sensitive to closer to wall placing

are there any better alternative at that price

We are a legacy dealer and the signatures are  excellent across the board they are basically neutral with a clean detailed top end and a wide soundstage the bass is clean and punchy and a bit warm

they sound great with a large number of amplifiers, and work well in many diffeeent sized rooms.

The Focus is rear ported, so they ideally should be out from the wall a bit.  The Signature is sealed, and can be placed closer to the wall behind it. Both models have a switch to attenuate LF if needed.

FWIW, I purchased the Signature SE a couple months ago and love them.

Another longtime Legacy user here. Their strengths match my listening preferences. I use the Signature SE, but with a larger room would move up to the Focus SE. The fact they are not ported allows closer front wall placement. One caveat: the dealers above say Legacys "sound great with a large number of amplifiers." This is true, but they sound best with high current, Class. For many this means Pass or Coda. You don't mention what amp(s) you would be using/considering, but Legacy would not be my speakers of choice for tube amplification.

I have the focus and the valor think they are bang for buck speaker I like them but I listen to soft rock.i have driven them with many amps theylove power
