Airflow is important for any of the big class A SS amps or any tube amp for that matter. I run mine on the floor with ample clearance on all sides.
Krell FPB-200 placed in av rack or stand?
I'm worried that the amp produces so much heat that components above it could be damaged. I�ve thought of going to a Salamander Synergy Triple 20 but think it could overheat with any restriction of airflow.
I thought maybe the baby of the FPB line wouldn�t draw current or produce heat like Krell�s big boys. It does enough to need special attention paid to its neighbors & use it�s own circuit.
Am I worrying to much?
