Klyne + Aleph 5

I recently acquired a Klyne 7.35, which I really like. It is very transparent, but at the same time represents the tone of instruments. I have an Aleph 5 being shipped to me, in which I purchased because I wanted an amp that added a little more body to the music, while at the same time keeping the detail of the Klyne. Am I way off on this? I use to have a First Watt J2, which I really liked and regretted selling it. I thought the Aleph 5, while not the same amp, would have similar characteristics while giving me 50 watts of single-ended power for my Yamaha NS-1000’s. Also, would Canare star quad xlr cables be suitable for connecting the Klyne with the Aleph, not robbing me of any detail?

Thanks

Thanks for the help and the insight. The Aleph arrived sooner than expected. Even though it is not running balanced, I'm getting a taste of the sound. I'll have to hear more and get an assessment of what I like.

I will avoid the Canare's because I seem to remember that sort of sound signature when I had them a long time ago. I thought that maybe it was me, but you have confirmed my suspicion. I will try to go the silver DIY route because that is what I use for my unbalanced cables.
