IsoTek Titan V5

Does anyone have experience with their Amp connected to an Isotek Titan V5?

Does anyone have experience connecting source components to an IsoTek Titan V5?

The V5 Titan is designed for amplifiers and uses a direct coupled circuit for minimal resistance and max current.  The other cleaners designed for sources have more resistance as a result of more cleaning of the incoming power.  Sources sound better through these and amplifiers better through the Titan.

I have not tried it on source components; those are on a rack ten feet from the amplifiers.  The Titan, on the amp does change soundstaging—instruments and singers stand out in starker relief, something I like.  The Aquarius had a bigger impact, probably because sources and the linestage are on it.

Have you ever tried the source components plugged into the Titan?

Does the Titan change the soundstage perspective? For example some conditioners move the whole image forward. That’s been my experience so I’m looking for one that is more laid back and open.

I have a Titan (don’t know which version) that I plug my amp into (both the speaker and headphone amp).  The speaker amp is a low-powered tube amp.  It’s effect is quite subtle in this application—sense of front to back soundstage layering and lateral image precision is improved and low level dynamics is improved.  Conditioning for source and linestage components seem to make a bigger improvement.  I use an Isotek Aquarius for those components.

All of my amplifiers are run through a non filtering power distributor.

All source equipment is run through an IsoTek Corvus 5. We also have dedicated power to our audio room and  whole house surge protection.
