Nobsound springs will trounce all those, and for cheap. Townshend Pods will trounce springs, and while they will cost a lot more will be so much better they will be worth it. Yes I have done the comparisons. The stuff you're talking about, they are each a little different than the other but in the big picture when you hear how much better Nobsound are you will understand why I say they are all the same. Springs are totally the way to go. Townshend are the best springs. You get awesome bargain and quite good performance with Nobsound. You get awesome performance and quite good bargain with Townshend. Those in brief are your two top contenders.
Isolation - Isacoustics Puck Mini vs Herbie’s Fat Dots
Hi all,
I have my Dynaudio Special 40s on the stands that came with them (stands are filled with sand). I’m using the spikes on the stands into Herbies decoupling gliders (don’t want to damage the wooden floor).
And finally, I have added Herbie’s Fat Dots between my speakers and stands. Do you think the Isoacoustics puck mini will be an upgrade? If not, should I consider other options? Anybody here that’s used both? Please help, thanks!
