This is specialized enough that you would have to try it and find out for yourself. The question is not so much will it improve things but if the improvement, one way or the other, is worth the cost. I suggest you try it and experiment, eventually you will sort out what is best. You can then sell the stuff you don't prefer. From an engineering perspective, I'd bet one system or the other will be better, not both since neither was designed to be used together.
Isolation - Isacoustics Puck Mini vs Herbie’s Fat Dots
Hi all,
I have my Dynaudio Special 40s on the stands that came with them (stands are filled with sand). I’m using the spikes on the stands into Herbies decoupling gliders (don’t want to damage the wooden floor).
And finally, I have added Herbie’s Fat Dots between my speakers and stands. Do you think the Isoacoustics puck mini will be an upgrade? If not, should I consider other options? Anybody here that’s used both? Please help, thanks!
