Is there such a beast?

I am currently looking for a cd player that plays CD/SACD w/balanced outputs and an I-LINK (IEEE 1394) output. Is there such a thing that could be had for $2500 new? If so,
Is the sound quality on Redbook playback comparable with other cd players of that price?
