Is More Better?

I currently have two SVS SB 3000 subs in a system and decided to add two more.

Will the good people who have been there, done that share suggestions to make

the addition of the two subs a little easier for me?  Thanks in advance.

I have 4 B&W subs with DSP.  A good subwoofer arrangement won't produce overpowering bass unless you want that.  My bass can reach deeper, but is perfectly balanced with the mids and highs.  What it will do is clean up the sound where staging and presence is better.  The DSP helps because you just stagger them somewhat but don't have to crawl all over the place finding the right spots.  I was stunned by the improvement in clarity-an aural decluttering.
