Is Bluetooth friendly with high-end DAC's ?

For several hours I'd been enjoying bluetoothing YouTube from my iPad to the Moon 780D DAC, when .... silence.   The connection had been lost.  Trying to re-pair the two devices, the Moon device address wouldn't load into the iPad, let alone restore connectivity and music.  Nor would the DAC pair with a new iPhone, isolating the DAC as the source of the problem.

Does this situation sound familiar to anyone on the forum ?  I've not yet streamed via ethernet to the DAC, but is that my only other option for listening from the internet ?

Thanks,

thanks so much for clarifying connectivity issues. Draining the DAC for 30 seconds did the trick - and I may have to do it on the regular from here on out.  I really enjoy hearing the NAXOS Music Library of 3 million tracks on my big system.
Never had this happened, but these are wireless signals, and involve computers.  I assume you've unplugged your DAC, waited 30 seconds and turned it back on??

Also, sometimes some devices are just over rated for heat.  That is, they get over heated too easily, either due to over use, or bad location or weather.  Keep this in mind as you trouble shoot.
