In your opinion ;Does using jumper cables have negative effect on the overall sound ?

I have looked at the previous threads on this question and wanted to see if anyone had an updated take on my question. I have speakers that are bi-wire-able and currently have internally bi-wired speaker cables for them. I have an opportunity to improve on my speaker cables with a pair that are single wired so I would need to buy a set of matching jumpers. I cannot help but think that adding / using a pair of jumpers cables with the single wired cables will not be as good as bi-wired cables. I cannot change out the speaker cable and definitely could not afford a second run of the speakers cables I am looking at. Your thoughts and experience would be appreciated.

I have found that cables with matching jumper sounds better than internal bi-wire. Double run even better,  but then cost is an issue...
