How to correctly hook up Vandersteen 2C speakers?

I want to purchase a used pair of Vandersteen 2C or 2Ce floor standing speakers. Is there another way to wire them without having to biamp the wires? It says it will take two pairs of wire for each speaker  and they come with four terminals on the back. Is there a trick on this or does it ruin the beautiful sound that comes from these speakers? I will be using a Reference 200.2 B&K amplifier that is rated at 240WPC at 8 ohms. I can also use a recapped Hafler DH 220. Whatever sounds better and has the ability to handle these speakers. What should I do?

You use 2 pairs of speaker cables instead of 1. Its also possible to use 1 pair of speaker cables and put jumper on the terminals. I would recommend going with 2 separate pairs of cables. They don't have to be expensive cables, just good quality, well designed. Using 2 runs will make a noticeable difference on those speakers. It tells you all this in the owners manual. You'll also need the formula to set the back tilt. If you don't have it, you can download the manual on their website.
