How to connect susb to my system

Hi there,

Can you please help me on the correct way to connect a pair of powered subs to my system?

My system components:

Audio Research Ref 10 preamp

Rogue Apollo mono amps

Evolution Acoustics MM3 speakers.

If you chain them in via speaker cables, most subs (you haven’t specified what you have) will play the sub-bass and then pass the upper frequencies to your speakers. This looks backwards to me.
