How Many Readers Come & Go

Does anyone have any idea how many readers of this forum come and go?

Sometimes, over the course of a couple years I would like to ask for comments on a piece of equipment, set up, music that I sent a post on a few years back.  My thought is that we would have new blood that might have input that wasn’t around during the initial post (that didn’t get much traction). I also don’t want to be redundant for long term readers.

Any thoughts?

It never hurts to use the search feature first before starting a new thread, simply because certain topics like "What new DAC should I buy?" come up over and over and members (understandably) get weary of trying to answer the same questions over and over. Having said that, the sheer quantity of gear means that not everyone is going to be interested in or have experience with, a piece you ask about. No reason to jump to conclusions about the forum in general.

Could be the case or could be your question simply didn't resonate with the audience at the time (very typical with most social media, not a dig at your question).

Just post a new question; re-think your title and get right to the core point of your question. Sometimes all you need is to catch more eyes to trigger more responses.

Just post on new question if previous question wasn't answered. You could link to previous post(s) in new post for reference.
