How do I remove a stuck Garrard 301 from its base?

I didn't want to highjack anyone else Garrard 301 threads, so starting this new one to ask a straightforward question: I'm trying to remove my new-to-me 301 from a console it was originally installed in. I -- obviously -- removed the mounting screws and nuts, but when I try to lift it out, it won't budge. I don't want to pry it or do anything that might damage it (fortunately, it's in perfect cosmetic condition!)

Is there some secret I'm not aware of? Something else that would be holding it to the board?

FWIW: When I removed the nuts from the underside, the washers stayed firmly in place against the underside of the board. Might they somehow be attached upward to the turntable (like -- they could be a collar of some sort)?

While I have the attention of 301 owners: Just how silent should the table be when it's in operation? I have a slight whirring sound that I can hear when standing close to the table. I've cleaned and oiled the idler bearings, oiled the motor, the spindle and felt spindle pad. The motor and idler wheel spin very freely and quietly when I spin them. (I'm going to have the table serviced at a later date before installing it into a nice plinth, but for now, I just want to try whatever I can do on my own to get it running quietly.)

Thanks!!

@dcindc It is just stuck to the plinth the finish now acting as glue. If you have a chisel, run it into the wood under the chassis and pry up. You will put a dig into the wood, but if you do it correctly you will not damage the chassis at all. In the absence of a chisel a sharp screwdriver will do. The judicious application of force!

I'll check about the rubber. I think you're right about the console. The board it's attached to can actually be lifted up (it rests on a little lip around the inside of the console). When I lift it so it's not touching, the whir becomes almost inaudible.

I think the whole console vibrates with the motor. I'm planning to order a massive layered plywood plinth to install this in.

Thanks for your reply!

Is there a rubber profile around the perimeter of the chassis? If so , that may have dried out over time so it’s now adhered to the 301 chassis and to the wood cabinet. There’s no loss if you destroy that in the process of removal.

As to the  motor and idler noise, it’s the job of the plinth to deaden it. The old console in which it’s now mounted is probably actually making things worse, acting as an echo chamber because it’s probably hollow under the 301.
