Not familar with Fou Ts'ong's Chopin. For the piano concertos: For best performance with good sound (typical DG) try Zimmerman/Giulini on DG. For original instruments try Emanuel Ax and Charles Mackerras on Sony, and for something really different (if you can find it)try the chamber version on the BIS label. My personal preference of the dozen versions I have is the Claudio Arrau/Inbal renditions with the LSO on Philips.
The best perfomances of Chopin's piano concertos in my opinion are by Zimmerman and Argerich. Who is Fou Ts'ong? I never heard of him.
Ts'ong i read, lived, drank and breathed Chopin. What resulted in highly acclaimed performance (audiophile quality) captured on Collins Classical recording #30152 i beleve OOP?
