I am buying a HK Citation 12 amp...I read an HK article which stated that the unit does have speaker protection but does NOT have DC Fault Protection.
Should I put inline fuses to protect my speakers ?...
Fuse cannot provide DC fault protection!
You can install an external speaker protection device to protect DC fault and eliminate turn on thump/pop noise due to the amplifier need time to stabilize.
