High end in Tokyo?

I'm in Tokyo for the next week. Are there any good stores to visit with esoteric/high end gear that is reflective of trends I've been reading about in Japan for decades? Not interested in seeing the typical fare available in the US.

Geoff, yeah, I heard that too, and saw the pictures.
For traditional Japanese the best visitor is the one that doesn't come. Certainly not without invitation.
