Just looking for opinions/experience comparing these three Preamps that are of interest to me

+1 simply means that you are in agreement with the post/recommendation in question
I have a Herron and BHK.  For vinyl, my Herron phono pre and Herron pre amp combination sounds much better than the Herron phono pre and BHK combination.

For streaming, the BHK and DirectSteam DAC via XLR cable combination sounds much better than the Herron and DirectSteam DAC combination via RCA cables.

I really like them both, and both are excellent products.

+1 on the LTA pre amp.
I’d just add confusion and suggest that Backert, Linear Tube Audio, and Sachs would also be worth a look among others.
I’ve had the Rogue Rp7 and the BHK. The BHK is cleaner sounding and measures better. It doesn’t round off the leading edges of transients like the Rogue does. I can’t speak for the Herron. But if you can swing it, I strongly recommend you try out a used ARC Ref 6 if possible. I’ve heard one and it is far better than the other two. It’s got tremendous drive and is much more dimensional, more real sounding.
