Help with connecting REL Tzero Mk III with KEF Eggs
Hi,Hope someone can help. Here in Australia,I can't find any retailers/distributors who sell both REL and KEF.Firstly,I am not very knowledgeable/skilled with electronics.I bought the Eggs last year, discounted and of course the Hi Fi shop didn't tell me they need base.I use them plugged into the tv,but want to use them for quality bluetooth music from my phone(FLAC).They have a "Sub" socket on the master speaker, but the REL Tzero I received today, says nothing and provides no connector for this.Hope someone can help.I bought the Eggs 10 minutes away and the REL online from Melbourne-880kms/550miles away.Thank you

I found two different versions of sub-out connection of the KEF Eggs, one is mono and one is stereo. http://www2.kef.com/uploads/images/en/egg/qsg/KEF_EGG_QSG_preview_080515_2.pdf and https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1244753/Kef-Kef-Egg.html?page=3#manual So the safest way to connect the eggs sub-out to REL Tzero is using a 3.5mm stereo to rca adapter: https://i5.walmartimages.com/asr/64c9b1e8-0243-4ed5-ac81-681d5cf4da6b_1.e81b89f5d3b0f5a3e2e9394f8355... or https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71HGOyCZWCL._SL1500_.jpg Plug the 3.5mm to rca adapter to the eggs sub-out, use a single rca cable connect the left output (white, not the red) from the adapter to REL "LOW LEVEL INPUT". Egg sub-out --> 3.5mm adapter (left out) --> rca cable --> REL low level input |
