Don’t get me wrong, because I do own several Bluesound devices and they work amazingly well, but the only thing I found as a negative with the Bluesound products is that rubberized finish.
It looks and feels great to start with but after a few years (5 in my case) that rubberized finish degrades and becomes quite tacky to the touch - dust sticks to it.
My binoculars had the same finish and they were awful to use.
However - I found that cleaning the device with rubbing alcohol to remove any dust and then applying some Johnson’s furniture polish to a cloth and then using the cloth to apply a thin film, reduced the tackiness so the dust does not stick. DO NOT get the polish in any vents
I have read of people using alcohol to remove the finish, but it is a lot of work.
The Bluesound TV soundbar has a different finish that will not degrade - not sure about their other products, so I hope they’ve fixed this on their other products
Regards - Steve
