Ortofon 2M Blue in a headshell is solid. You might also consider the Nagaoka
MP-110H. It's a little more musical and forgiving than the Blue on an older table.
Headshell with cart for Technics SL-1100a
Recently, I was given this Technics turntable. The headshell and stylus were damaged, so i removed it and put on one with an Audio Technica cart. Given the age of the AT cart, I want to purchase a new SH-4 headshell that includes the cart. With this particular turntable, any red flags with that? Obviously, this is the easiest way for a non-tech like myself to move forward quickly. AT has a highly regarded model, as is the Ortofon Blue. Recommendations/insight appreciated.
