Having problem with Logitech Squeezebox Touch switching libraries

I had similar issues a few years ago.  I use my SBT to stream from my Vortexbox (Linux-based) server.  Try going to the GUI on a networked computer in your home, by entering the IP address for the SBT.  Once there, open the Logitec server page and look for a dropdown box labeled "player".  You should see your SBT as a choice there.  Select it.  You may need to reboot your SBT and/or your iMac, too.

Are you sure that it wasn't just your library being updated? Sometimes it takes a while.

If its not that, you may have a compatibility issue. One of your pieces may not support a file system that the other does. (or something similar.). Get a usb stick and format it to fat32 or exfat. Then put some music on it from the problem library drive and see if it will play from that.

I haven't used a Mac in a while, so I'm not sure, but you may need to mount your drives/partitions. You can't access anything that's not mounted.

Seems to be working now.  Not sure what I did.  I think it may have been resetting the network settings, or maybe the library was updating.  Hopefully it will keep working. Thanks for your suggestions .
