I have the MC2255 McIntosh amplifier. The MC2200 is the same amp, without the power. The first thing I would do is read the the owner's manual. But you can use these amps in mono. There is a switch on the back to go from stereo to mono. Connect the C27 left output to the left input speaker amplifier and the C27 right output to the right speaker input amplifier. I use a C32 and this works. Again, consult your amp and pre-amps owners'manuals. Good luck, hope I told you rightt
