Greg Kihn

Greg Kihn has passed at the age of seventy-five. He had a great career. RIP.

Was a big fan of Greg Kihn. Kinda odd that a southern California boy wrote a song about a Madison Avenue man, but still know most of the lyrics. Certainly an icon for CA but he was popular in PA back in the day.

I saw Greg Kihn during that same time period at the Park West in Chicago and it was a fun show.  Rockin’ good time.

Side note for Jeopardy fans (both kinds): check out Weird Al Yancovic’s “I Lost on Jeopardy”

Very Cool!  Lots of those Parkwest shows were discounted tickets via WRXT.  Those were the days when concerts were affordable.  Loads of fun and memories.

@goodlistening64 - Southern California boy? He was originally from Baltimore and then moved to San Francisco in 1974, and was one of the first artists on Berkeley-based Beserkely Records. SF and Berkeley are in Northern California.

Just looked at his Wiki; didn't realize he also wrote some popular horror novels...
