My parents listened to his music so I grew up hearing it and later playing it. RIP

Saw the obit that the great George Shearing died. A friend of mine introduced me to his music about 10 years ago. I have a number of his albums both as a solo pianist, with his trio, and as instrumental backup with Mel Torme. What an artist. Good bye George may you rest in peace!
