You don't say your system......If your question is about the sub.....get another sub...... 2 are better than one.: better than a bigger one.

How do I make the sound directions less obvious?
Centre is right under the TV screen, and left and right are a little bit spaced apart.
I hear the voices going from left to centre to right very clearly, and I can even hear the voice coming from the centre speaker, NOT from the TV. Is there a way to make this a bit more ambiguous? Slightly killing the immersion.

@stingren is right, this has nothing to do with your sub. Assuming your speakers are transparent enough, you could be suffering from excessive local reflections. To experiment, try covering up any hard surfaces like your entertainment center, with a blanket. Some speakers are just not going to disappear no matter what you do though. Oh, also, if you have a receiver that supports it, make sure you take advantage of room correction. |
